This is why repigmentation gels are commonly used as part of a wider treatment plan rather than on their own.
These gels are applied directly to white patches to support the skin where repigmentation is needed most. When combined with UVB light therapy, they help create a more favourable environment for pigment to return over time.
Vitix, Vitistop and Vitipro all focus on antioxidant skin support. Their ingredients are selected to help reduce oxidative stress in the skin, which may contribute to melanocyte stress and pigment loss in vitiligo.
Topical repigmentation gels are usually most effective when used as part of a structured routine with UVB phototherapy or carefully managed sunlight exposure. Consistency matters more than intensity, especially during the early stages of treatment.
Which Gel Is Right for You?
Vitix Gel
A well-established antioxidant gel based on patented EXTRAMEL® microsphere technology. Vitix is designed to help regulate oxidative stress within the skin and support repigmentation in a gentle, structured way.

- Contains antioxidant enzymes such as SOD and catalase
- Used twice daily on and around affected areas
- Works particularly well alongside UVB phototherapy or controlled sunlight
Vitistop Gel
A stronger, more modern repigmentation gel designed specifically for vitiligo-prone skin. In addition to antioxidant support, Vitistop contains Babchi Oil, which is traditionally used in pigmentation-focused skincare and helps make the formula more active than Vitix.

- Contains SOD, Babchi Oil, Copper, Zinc, Vitamin B5 and Vitamin B12
- Applied around 30 minutes before UVB therapy or controlled sunlight exposure
- Designed to support visible repigmentation over time
Vitipro Gel
Our strongest repigmentation gel, developed for experienced users who need a more potent option. Vitipro is around 4 times more concentrated than Vitistop Gel and contains a high concentration of Babchi Oil, making it extremely powerful but also much more likely to increase skin sensitivity to light.
- Best reserved for experienced users of Vitistop Gel
- Contains concentrated Babchi Oil, plus SOD, Copper, Zinc and vitamins
- May support faster repigmentation in stubborn areas
- Must be used very carefully because there is a significantly higher risk of redness or burning with light exposure
Why is Babchi Oil important?
Babchi Oil has long been used in pigmentation-focused skincare because it can help make the skin more responsive to light-based repigmentation routines. This is one of the reasons why Vitistop Gel is considered stronger than Vitix, and why Vitipro Gel is much more potent again.
The benefit is stronger repigmentation support. The trade-off is that stronger formulas must be used more carefully, especially when combined with UVB light or sunlight.
Important: because Vitipro Gel is extremely strong, it should be used with great caution when combined with UVB light or sunlight. There is a real risk of skin irritation or burning if exposure is too aggressive.
For this reason, we strongly recommend starting with Vitistop Gel first. Only consider Vitipro Gel if you already have experience with Vitistop and understand how your skin responds to light treatment.
Simple choice: choose Vitix Gel if you want a classic antioxidant gel. Choose Vitistop Gel if you want a stronger formula and are following a structured phototherapy routine. Choose Vitipro Gel only if you are an experienced user and need maximum strength for stubborn areas.
Repigmentation takes time. The best results usually come from consistent long-term use together with carefully controlled UVB light therapy or sunlight exposure.
