Why is Vitix Gel in Vitiligoshop?
Vitix Gel is formulated to support repigmentation by helping rebalance oxidative stress in the skin. Unlike many over-the-counter options, Vitix is backed by clinical research and manufactured by ACM Laboratoire Dermatologique (France), a respected dermatology company. When used regularly alongside phototherapy or sensible sun exposure, Vitix can help restore a more even skin colour and may reduce the risk of further pigment loss.
How does Vitix Gel work?
Vitix helps create a favourable environment for melanocytes (pigment-producing cells) by reducing excess hydrogen peroxide and supporting the skin’s antioxidant defences. Repigmentation may appear either as a uniform tone or as small perifollicular dots that gradually blend with surrounding skin. With consistent use together with UVB phototherapy or careful sun exposure, initial visible changes are often reported between months 2 and 4.
Key ingredient
EXTRAMEL® – a patented, plant-derived complex rich in antioxidant enzymes (including superoxide dismutase). It helps restore the physiological redox balance in epidermal cells and reduces hydrogen peroxide levels associated with depigmentation processes.
Directions for use
- Apply a thin, even layer to thoroughly cleansed, dry skin on the affected and surrounding areas twice daily (morning and evening).
- Massage in with gentle circular motions until fully absorbed. A brief, fine-granular feel on application is normal and subsides within ~40 seconds.
- Use for 3–6 months consistently. Combine with your dermatologist’s UVB phototherapy plan or brief, safe natural light exposure.
Always avoid sunburn. If using sunscreens, apply them after Vitix has fully absorbed. Follow medical advice if you are under active treatment.
