Viticolor Camouflage Gel – Natural-Looking Coverage for Vitiligo
Viticolor is a long-lasting camouflage gel designed to reduce the visible contrast between depigmented areas and the surrounding skin. Its combination of immediate colour pigments and self-tanning ingredients helps create a natural-looking shade that can remain visible for approximately 3–5 days.
The colour can be built up gradually, making Viticolor suitable for different skin tones and for both small and larger areas affected by vitiligo.
Why Choose Viticolor?
Benefit 1
Long-lasting camouflage
The developed colour can remain visible for approximately 3–5 days and gradually fades as the skin naturally renews.
Benefit 2
Adjustable colour intensity
The shade can be built up gradually through additional thin applications or softened by mixing the gel with a small amount of water.
Benefit 3
More precise application
The included brush applicator allows the gel to be applied directly to smaller depigmented areas and helps create more precise coverage.
Benefit 4
Natural-looking result
Careful blending around the edges helps reduce visible transition lines and creates a more natural appearance.
How Viticolor Works
Viticolor combines two types of colouring ingredients to provide both immediate and longer-lasting cosmetic coverage:
- Immediate colour pigments provide visible colour during application, allowing you to see exactly where the gel has been applied.
- DHA and erythrulose gradually react with the surface layers of the skin and develop a longer-lasting shade several hours after application.
How to Apply Viticolor
1. Prepare the skin
Apply the product to clean, dry skin. For a more even result, gently exfoliate the area in advance and avoid applying moisturiser immediately before use.
2. Apply a thin layer
Use the included brush to apply a small amount of gel to the centre of the depigmented area. Gradually work outwards and carefully blend the edges to avoid visible transition lines.
3. Allow the colour to develop
Allow the product to dry completely. The longer-lasting colour develops gradually over several hours. Avoid washing the treated area while the colour is developing.
4. Build up the shade if required
If the result appears too light after approximately 8 hours, apply another thin layer. One or two additional applications may be used until the preferred shade is achieved.
Our recommendation
For a longer-lasting and more even result, we recommend applying Viticolor in the evening and leaving the developed colour undisturbed overnight.
How to Create a Softer, Lighter Shade
Viticolor can be mixed with a small amount of water before application. Diluting the gel helps create a softer and more subtle result, which can be particularly useful for lighter skin tones or when using the product for the first time.
The diluted mixture can be applied and blended using:
- A special self-tanning mitt
- Our Beauty Blender sponge for more precise blending
Tips for a More Natural Result
- Always begin with a small amount of product and build up the shade gradually.
- Blend the outer edges carefully to prevent a clearly visible border.
- Use a diluted mixture for lighter skin tones or when a subtle result is preferred.
- Allow each layer to dry completely before applying another layer.
- Test the shade on a small, discreet area before applying it to a larger visible area.
